Job summary

Yulista Holding, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer III to assist in Field Project Management across Alaska and the Pacific Regions. Responsibilities include managing project scope, preparing reports, and coordinating with the Construction Management Team for successful project execution.

Qualifications

Job description

Project Engineer III – Field Project Management

Overview

As the Project Engineer III, you will work on‑site and assist the Construction Management Team with field project management across Alaska and the Pacific Regions. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project records, reports, and supporting the Project Manager with plans development and data entry into RMS or comparable software.

Responsibilities
  • Support project planning and RFPs; understand the project contract.
  • Manage project scope and schedule.
  • Prepare daily project reports, including timekeeping, environmental and permit compliance.
  • Create and maintain inspection reports, job diaries, photographs, video logs, and subcontractor reports.
  • Maintain documentation in RMS or comparable project document/correspondence software.
  • Provide input for project plans development and assist with writing project plans.
  • Coordinate meetings and record meeting notes.
  • Provide work inspection and logging when required.
  • Assist the Construction team—including the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Quality Control, and Superintendent—with job‑related tasks.
  • Prepare correspondence as required.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination among all project participants.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The position may direct the work of craft and other project workers as needed and directed.

Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of construction‑related computer applications (database, spreadsheet, scheduling, job costing, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Knowledge of RMS or comparable project document/correspondence software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees, business partners, and clients.
  • Ability to read and write technical documents, plans, routine reports, and correspondence.
  • Independent and cooperative work style; friendly and positive interaction with employees, partners, and customers.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities using available information.
  • Judgment, discretion, and effective stress handling to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to facilitate group meetings.
  • Safe and efficient motor vehicle operation.
Qualifications – Minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related 4‑year degree.
  • Valid state driver’s license and compliance with the company driving policy.
  • Pass drug, driving, and background screening.
  • Passport and ability to travel internationally and work in remote locations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Seven to fifteen years of construction experience.
  • Construction Quality Management, AKCESCL, OSHA 30 / EM385‑1‑1 certifications.
  • Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
Working Conditions

The work environment is a business office setting with rotations to project sites. Work may require weekend and/or evening hours and may be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
