Job summary

Suna Solutions is seeking a Continuous Improvement Strategist to lead process improvement across a multi-site distribution network. You will drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, analyze data, map processes, and build BI dashboards to quantify cost savings and ROI.

$90,000 – $110,000 + 0–10% Bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Strategist to lead and execute process improvement and standardization initiatives across a multi-site distribution network.

This role will use Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, process mapping, and business intelligence to identify operational inefficiencies, improve productivity and safety, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business results.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on Lean Six Sigma experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead improvement projects from data analysis through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects across warehouse, transportation, and distribution operations.
• Use DMAIC, Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Analyze operational data and develop KPI dashboards and reports using Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Perform process mapping, time studies, root cause analysis, and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop business cases and quantify cost savings, productivity improvements, and ROI.
• Support optimization of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems, including data integrity and user adoption.
• Create and implement SOPs, standard processes, and control mechanisms to sustain improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Coach and support operational leaders and Lean Six Sigma practitioners.
• Use tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, and Value Stream Mapping to identify root causes.
• Translate complex data and analytical findings into actionable recommendations for operational leadership.
• Identify systemic issues across multiple facilities and develop scalable solutions.
• Partner with Operations, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and financial impact.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Experience in an analytical or continuous improvement role, preferably within distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of DMAIC and Kaizen methodologies.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and process improvement.
• Experience working with ERP, WMS, and/or TMS systems.
• Strong project management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Conditions

• Hybrid role combining office/remote analytical work with hands‑on time in distribution facilities.
• 25–50% travel to regional locations.
• Must be comfortable working on warehouse floors around equipment, forklifts, conveyors, noise, and varying temperatures.
• May occasionally require extended, evening, or weekend hours to observe operational processes.
