Job summary

Centerra Group seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to provide analytical support for quality and productivity, developing improved equipment, processes, or methods at the Savannah River Site. You will lead deficiency analysis, manage STAR database, run corrective actions, and help deploy process-improvement projects that cut costs and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Two years of professional experience analyzing and developing solutions to organizational issues or developing business processes and systems.
• One year of professional experience focused on process optimization, compliance adherence, and rigorous attention to detail in an operational or administrative environment.
• Experience with analytical tools and processes using databases, spreadsheets, and other business applications.
• Experience with causal and/or root cause analysis techniques to resolve identified programmatic issues.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a DOE 'L' security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Centerra-SRS Issues Management Program and STAR database.
• Plans, conducts Deficiency Analysis Group meetings and develops corrective action plans.
• Provides training on the STAR database and assessment input.
• Manages the ELITE suggestion program and evaluates employee ideas.
• Analyzes business processes to identify improvements and supports project execution.
• Researches best practices and analyzes data to track performance.
• Administers the Performance Measurement Program and report preparation.
• Complies with safety and health procedures.
