Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Mid-Senior Continuous Improvement Manager for its Louisville, KY manufacturing site. On-site role, you will drive daily CI, coaching teams, and leading transformation initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and safety.

You will partner across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and finance to simplify processes, remove obstacles, and sustain results through visual performance tracking and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and Lean initiatives in manufacturing/distribution.
• Proven ability to facilitate problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives across manufacturing and distribution operations to improve safety, quality, delivery performance, productivity, and cost.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and value stream assessments to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, and create more efficient processes.
• Coach leaders and employees in problem-solving, process improvement, standard work, and performance management practices to build lasting capability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and deliver measurable business results.
• Establish systems that sustain improvements through visual performance tracking, accountability routines, and continuous learning.

Working onsite, you will help build a culture where continuous improvement is part of everyday operations, driving better outcomes for our customers, employees, and business. In this role, you will partner with leaders and teams across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, and support functions to simplify processes, remove obstacles, and improve performance. Your work will help increase productivity, improve flow, enhance quality, and create a safer, more efficient workplace. You will also help develop improvement capabilities across the site by coaching teams, leading transformation initiatives, and ensuring sustainable results that support long-term growth and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, or a related field
• Experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, Lean, or business system initiatives within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Strong skills in facilitating process improvement efforts, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and cross-functional problem-solving.
• Ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience using performance metrics and data to identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and measure results.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and change management practices.
