Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Lead Technician, Continuous Improvement to help bring practical improvements to the Utica shop floor. You will work with operators, supervisors and engineers to make processes safer, more efficient and easier to sustain.

You will create visual controls, improve layout and standard work, and ensure sustainment through audits and follow-up. This role emphasizes hands-on shop-floor impact and cross-team collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing/warehouse experience in continuous improvement
• Knowledge of 5S, visual management and basic problem-solving methods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow/improve standard work
• Clear communication and teamwork skills across diverse teams
• Ownership mindset aligned with Danfoss behaviours such as curiosity and accountability

Responsibilities

You will help bring continuous improvement to life on the shop floor by turning ideas into visible, practical changes. Through your hands-on work, manufacturing and warehouse teams will operate more efficiently, safely, and consistently every day.

Your contributions will directly improve how workspaces are organized, how information is shared, and how teams follow standard processes. From visual controls to workplace layout, you will make improvements that are easy to see, use, and sustain.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support 5S and visual management activities to create organized, safe, and efficient work areas
