Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Indianapolis seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join the Carrier Excellence (Cx) team. You will apply Cx Operating System methods and Lean Six Sigma to optimize product flow across fabrication and assembly lines, while reducing waste and variation.

With a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in CI/IE or manufacturing, you’ll lead cross-functional improvements, partnering with engineers and operations to deliver safety, delivery, and cost gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Apply Cx Operating System, focusing on Goal Deployment, Daily Management, and Problem Solving.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive best class processes while working to become a recognized Cx Practitioner.
• Drive measurable improvements that support goals for safety, customer, delivery, cost and productivity.
• Analyze demand and model mix to optimize product flow through fabrication and multiple assembly lines.
• Analyze current processes to identify and remove waste and reduce process variation.
