Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Training and orienting all BU employees on the kaizen concept, principles, tools and their application;
- Identify and certify the Kaizen Multipliers according to Sodecia group targets;
- Develop and support kaizen Multipliers (training, coaching and mentoring);
- Understand and monitor the KPIs selected in each pillar: Grow, Cost, Quality, Delivery and Motivation (Doc support - Gap chart Report);
- Analyze and present to BU’s Management Team the kaizen project to reduce or eliminate 7 WASTES;
- Define 12-week forecast kaizen projects and resources to reach the 2% savings (calculated in a 12-month perspective);
- Able to calculate “payback analysis” on kaizen projects, with the business unit management team and other employees considered crucial to achieving an accurate analysis;
- Summarize and report weekly and monthly all kaizen activities, performance results, activities forecast and trends;
- Define and follow up all the PDCA concerning all kaizen activities to achieve all the Kaizen Targets;
- Analyze all the investments from a production process perspective to validate if it is the “last” improvement solution;
- Benchmark best practices within Sodecia Group;
- Develop and deploy internal controls and organizational metrics dashboards (Visual management);
- Develop, manage and lead continuous process improvement strategies and initiatives according to the BU strategy.
Skills Profile:
- University Degree in industrial or production engineering or similar;
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in a continuous improvement environment in the Automotive Industry;
- Process Engineering experience is a plus;
- Experience working in an organization that has a well-implemented “Safety Culture” is a plus.
