Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Position Overview

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving product quality by applying various continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze process inefficiencies and areas for improvement across various departments.
  • Implement Six Sigma methodologies and lean principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Facilitate value stream mapping sessions to visualize and improve workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance protocols.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor performance metrics and track the success of improvement initiatives.
  • Lead Kaizen workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Develop and present reports on performance improvements and cost reduction outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies, especially Six Sigma and Lean.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and statistical process control.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading improvement projects.
  • Effective team facilitation and change management skills.
  • Experience with workflow optimization and performance metrics analysis.
  • Familiarity with the Toyota Production System (TPS) is a plus.
  • Proficient in CAD and SQL for process mapping and data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
