Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s Oakley facility in California seeks a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive Lean initiatives, sustain standardized work, and engage cross-functional teams in problem-solving. You will help implement visual management, audits, and daily accountability to boost safety, quality, and productivity.

You will partner with operations to sustain improvements, coach teams, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and other business systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independent and collaborate in a team environment
• Great flexibility, organizational, detail oriented and time management skills.
• Capable of coaching and influencing others.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and sustainment of Continuous Improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity improvements.
• Coordinate High Performance Team (HPT) program, tracking projects and engagement activities.
• Plan and monitor Layered Process Audits (LPAs) to ensure standards.
• Support Shop Floor Management (SFM) with visual controls, KPI boards, actions.
• Conduct audits to verify standardized work and 5S practices.
• Coordinate activities to keep the facility tour-ready with visual controls and housekeeping.
