Job summary

Oakley, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Quality Engineer to support lens and frame manufacturing processes, drive corrective actions, and reduce Non-Conforming Material and Excess Consumption through data-driven engineering. The role requires collaboration across production areas and leadership in quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Department.
• Knowledge of MSA, CpK, SPC, Sampling Plans and Control Plans.
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis with systematic approaches.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience aligning quality goals with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corrective/Preventive Actions using root cause methodologies.
• Drive to reduce NCMR/ExCo in Production areas using data analysis.
• Support Production areas from start to finish.
• Collaborate across departments to improve quality.
• Participate in budgeting to reduce ExCo.
• Collect, analyze, and publish KPI metrics for meetings.
• Attend SQIDP and KPI meetings.
• Improve first pass yield and process robustness.
• Act as subject matter expert for quality in manufacturing areas.
• Maintain safe, organized work environment; report hazards promptly.
