Job summary

Wharton County Junior College is seeking a Continuing Education Specialist to assist in developing and monitoring non-credit programs across WCJC locations. You will meet with students, community members and industry leaders to share information on continuing education offerings and services.

Qualified candidates have an Associate's Degree or 60 credits and at least two years of relevant full-time experience, plus proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours completed (minimum).
• Two years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong customer service.
• Travel between WCJC campuses and off-site locations; valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist CE Department in developing, implementing, maintaining, scheduling, and monitoring non-credit programs and courses.
• Meet with students, community members and industry leaders to provide CE information.
• Collaborate across WCJC service area locations.
