Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager (Contingency Hire) to provide technical leadership for DoD programs and oversee engineering teams across network infrastructure, IA, software applications, and enterprise information systems.

The role emphasizes compliance, resource management, and delivering innovative, mission-focused solutions. Applicants must be a US citizen with active DoD Top Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification, plus 10+ years in senior engineering leadership

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with DoD Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification required.
• Minimum 10 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
• Experience managing IT/IP engineers on complex DoD/enterprise IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams supporting enterprise IT and network infrastructure projects.
• Oversee design, implementation, integration, and sustainment of complex information systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and contractual obligations.
• Manage schedules, risks, resources, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with program management, customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
