Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer on a contingency basis to administer, maintain, and support enterprise systems in a secure DoD environment. The role emphasizes system implementation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle support to meet government security requirements.

The position requires active DoD Top Secret clearance and a minimum of three years of hands-on experience. On-site work in Washington, DC is expected with potential for additional compensation per policy.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct hands-on experience administering, maintaining, or supporting the specific systems for which the individual is responsible.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, configuring, maintaining, and sustaining enterprise systems in a secure environment.
• Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD) systems is preferred.

Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting assigned systems to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations. The position provides technical expertise for system implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle support while ensuring compliance with Government security and operational requirements.

Compensation:

$73,140 - $109,710. The salary range posted is for Washington, DC. The offered rate will be based on contract affordability, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
