Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Context & Knowledge Specialist to drive semantic and contextual capabilities across the enterprise, bridging business needs with technology. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, shape data governance, and deliver scalable Knowledge Graph solutions to improve decision-making and AI readiness.

The role collaborates with stakeholders, data teams, and architects to ensure adoption, operationalization, and measurable value while aligning with the Gas Services’

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years owning and delivering value in a similar business capacity.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Architecture, Knowledge Management, Data Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience defining strategy, prioritizing work, and delivering value through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to drive adoption, establish ownership, and align stakeholders around common business objectives.
  • Ability to organize business knowledge into reusable assets supporting analytics, automation, and AI solutions.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead / Engage in cross-functional projects supporting Context Layer, Knowledge Graph, Semantic Layer, and AI initiatives.
  • Coordinate business, governance, architecture, engineering, and platform teams throughout implementation.
  • Define and review requirements, manage execution plans, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
  • Support pilot programs, MVP development, and enterprise-scale rollout activities.
  • Partner with data and technology teams to integrate semantic models into broader enterprise data architectures and platform pipelines.
  • Monitor and audit knowledge graph quality, resolving inconsistencies in terminology and metadata definitions.

As a Context & Knowledge Specialist, you will enable the business to realize value from the enterprise Semantic and Context Layer through the successful execution of strategic initiatives, transforming business priorities, processes, and information needs into scalable solutions that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, data usability, and AI readiness. Partners with business stakeholders, project teams, Knowledge Engineers, data governance teams, and technical architects to guide initiatives from ideation through implementation, providing both project leadership and hands‑on technical execution to deliver semantic and contextual capabilities that make information easier to discover, understand, trust, and reuse across the organization. Bridge business and technology by combining business enablement, solution engineering, technical support, and implementation expertise, ensuring contextual knowledge assets are successfully delivered, adopted, operationalized, and continuously improved to generate measurable business outcomes and long‑term organizational value.

How You’ll Make an Impact

What You Bring

  • Experience working within complex business environments, leveraging organizational knowledge, domain expertise, and professional networks to identify, capture, structure, and deliver business value.
  • 10+ years' experience owning and delivering value in a similar business capacity.
  • Experience defining strategy, prioritizing work, and delivering business value through cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Ability to drive adoption, establish ownership, and align stakeholders around common business objectives.
  • Ability to organize business knowledge, processes, and information into reusable assets that support analytics, automation, and AI solutions.
