Job summary

Service Master Restore, Inc. is seeking a Restoration Contents Associate to work hand in hand with the Contents Lead and team, processing homeowner’s personal property in residential and commercial settings.

There is potential for advancement within the company and a hands-on role supporting customers after disaster events. A careful, customer-focused approach is required and the job includes lifting and moving materials as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Team player mindset with ability to learn tasks quickly.
• Strong multi-tasking capability in a time-constrained setting.
• Familiarity with electronic devices, especially IPAD.
• Attention to detail and safeguarding property and information.
• Knowledge of public safety and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision in residential and commercial settings handling contents: packing, loading and transport.
• Disassembly and reassembly of items.
• Dry and wet cleaning of contents.
• Inventorying and photographing items.
• Deodorization (ozone, foggers, etc.).
• Identify salvageable versus non-salvageable contents.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Meet timelines under time constraints.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and housekeeping.
