Job summary

American Restoration is seeking a Contents Technician to perform on-site contents services for residential and commercial loss projects. You will carefully pack, document, handle, and transport customer belongings affected by fire, water, mold, or other damage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in restoration, packout services, moving, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site contents packout services at residential and commercial loss locations.
• Carefully handle, wrap, pad, box, and label customer belongings to prevent damage during transport and storage.
• Create detailed inventory records using company software, written logs, and photographic documentation.
• Identify and separate items for cleaning, restoration, disposal, or specialty handling.
• Safely load and unload contents into company vehicles for transport to cleaning facilities or storage warehouses.
• Protect customer property and home interiors during packout operations using proper materials and techniques.
