Job summary

Servpro Industries, Inc. is seeking a Contents Technician to assist with inventory, packing, transportation, cleaning, and restoration of customers' belongings after property damage.

You will work with an experienced restoration team, safely handling contents and preparing work areas to ensure efficient project completion. We provide training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in restoration, cleaning, moving, packing, warehousing, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• IICRC certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles, equipment, packing materials, and supplies for each project.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles, equipment, work areas, and warehouse spaces.
• Prepare and protect work areas before contents handling begins.
• Inventory, document, pack, label, and protect customer belongings.
• Sort contents based on condition and required cleaning methods.
• Safely move, load, unload, and transport customer contents.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture or larger items as needed.
• Clean and restore contents using SERVPRO-approved processes and products.
• Assist with pack-outs, contents cleaning, storage, and pack-backs.
• Communicate with supervisors and teammates about project needs or issues.
• Follow SERVPRO procedures and safety guidelines.
• Complete jobsite cleanup and properly store equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
