Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® is seeking a Contents Restoration Helper to support the Contents Department in restoring customer belongings after fire, water, or other property damage. The role includes pack-outs, warehouse work, cleaning, deodorization, and moving contents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting with pack-outs, transporting items, organizing furniture, performing cleaning tasks, and communicating professionally with property owners and teammates.

Qualifications

• Restoration/moving/warehouse/cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

• Transport contents, materials, and equipment safely between job sites and warehouse.
• Pack, unpack, move, and organize furniture and household contents.
• Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture and appliances.
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory control, and storage management.
• Perform contents cleaning, structural cleaning, and deodorization tasks.
• Complete post-construction and final cleaning services.
• Communicate professionally with property owners and team members.
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Compensation

Pay Based On Experience And Qualifications.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, and move 50–75 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Work in homes, warehouses, and job sites in varying conditions.
• Occasionally work in wet, humid, dusty, or odor-heavy environments.
• Be exposed to cleaning agents and restoration chemicals while using proper PPE.
