ServiceMaster RRH in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking an entry-level restoration and cleaning associate to complete Water and Fire Restoration jobs and post-construction cleaning. You will prepare and review documentation including notes, photos, and insurance-related forms to support reimbursements, with compensation based on experience.

The role emphasizes timely communication with customers, adherence to company policies, and accurate reporting of job activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Experience in the cleaning/restoration industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport required equipment and supplies to the job site.
• Complete assigned tasks following company processes and maintain quality control.
• Perform damage repair tasks including pack-out, debris removal, deodorizing, and surface treatment.
• Conduct thorough post-construction cleaning of trim, baseboards, fixtures, and related areas.
• Report equipment issues or damage to supervisor and ensure proper handling of tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work site
• Complete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job
• Perform damage repair to include pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, deodorizing and treatment of surfaces
• Complete detailed cleaning of trim, ledges, baseboards, light fixtures, and more on post construction cleans
• Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Report any equipment malfunction and or damage to supervisor
• Communicate customer issues, and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staff
• Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies

Job Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience in the cleaning or restoration industry not required but preferred
• Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
• Good verbal and written and communication skills
• Good customer service skillsExperience with using mobile software to enter data
• Can read and follow product label usage instructions
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
• Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
