Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® in Cedar Falls, IA seeks a dedicated team member to perform water and fire restoration tasks and cleaning. You will prepare notes, photos, and documents to support insurance reimbursements and explain next steps to customers in person.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, completing jobs per procedures with quality control, and coordinating with supervisors and customers. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service skills required.
• Experience with mobile data entry.
• Ability to read and follow product label instructions.

• Perform damage repair tasks including pack-out and deodorizing as needed.
• Clean post-construction areas including trim and fixtures.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor.

• Prepare documentation and photos for insurance reimbursements.

Completes tasks at Water and Fire Restoration jobs, as well as Cleaning jobs. Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies. Explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work site
• Explain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers
• Complete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job
• Perform damage repair to include pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, deodorizing and treatment of surfaces
• Complete detailed cleaning of trim, ledges, baseboards, light fixtures, and more on post construction cleans
• Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Report any equipment malfunction and or damage to supervisor
• Resolve issues with customers, communicates customer issues, and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staff
• Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies

Job Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience in the cleaning or restoration industry not required but preferred
• Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
• Good verbal and written and communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Experience with using mobile software to enter data
• Can read and follow product label usage instructions
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
• Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
