Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a major Pharmaceutical company to fill a temporary role of Content Review Operations Manager. This position leads end-to-end MLR review processes, aligned with SOPs, and drives efficiency in content approval and metadata management.

You will optimize resource allocation, manage audit trails, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, high-quality content reaches market swiftly. Hybrid or on-site in California options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
• 3+ years focused on content/digital asset management, content/marketing operations, content review and approval, compliance, or governance.
• Hands‑on experience using Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM) or similar systems as the primary tool for digital asset management and content approval.
• Proven background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or another highly regulated industry.
• Deep understanding of marketing and medical content lifecycles and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to build operational processes and leverage technology to boost efficiency.
• Advanced program management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Content Review Operations plans aligned with internal compliance and product standards.
• Lead and facilitate Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) content review processes, ensuring adherence to SOPs and audit readiness.
• Manage material flow through the entire review lifecycle, including submission validation and meeting facilitation.
• Validate and steward content metadata and business rules to support modular content standards and campaign strategy needs.
• Manage resource allocation and utilize accelerator tools to optimize review workflows and speed‑to‑market.
• Provide resources and guidance on content systems to support evolving standards.
• Identify and mitigate operational gaps and compliance risks and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain complete audit trails and compliance documentation for all reviewed content assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Content Review Operations plans aligned with internal compliance and product standards.
• Lead and facilitate Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) content review processes, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and audit readiness.
• Manage material flow through the entire review lifecycle, including submission validation, agenda preparation, meeting facilitation, and follow-up resolution.
• Validate and steward content metadata and business rules to support modular content standards and campaign strategy needs.
• Manage resource allocation and utilize accelerator tools to optimize review workflows and accelerate speed-to-market.
• Provide informational resources and ongoing guidance on content systems, supporting teams through evolving standards.
• Identify and mitigate operational gaps and compliance risks, escalating issues when necessary and ensuring partners follow established standards.
• Maintain complete audit trails and compliance documentation for all reviewed content assets.

Requirements & Qualifications

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.07 – $64.52/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
