Job summary

Watchup is seeking an organized and motivated team member to support operations and marketing in Menlo Park. In this role, you will manage content acquisition for growing news channels, improve user engagement, test new features, and coordinate daily operations of the startup.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the news industry, be digital savvy, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. A passion for excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the news industry and/or the app ecosystem.
• Very well organized and result-driven.
• Digital savvy with proficiency in Excel, Keynote, Photoshop, and social media.
• Excellent English writing skills; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand a selection of news channels.
• Test new features, find bugs, and provide UI/UX feedback.
• Coordinate daily operations of a startup.
• Engage with users to understand their needs.
• Enhance Watchup’s social media presence.
• Run user acquisition campaigns and track analytics.
