Job summary

Watchup is seeking an organized and motivated team member to support operations and marketing in Menlo Park. In this role, you will manage content acquisition for growing news channels, improve user engagement, test new features, and coordinate daily operations of the startup.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the news industry, be digital savvy, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. A passion for excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the news industry and/or the app ecosystem.
• Very well organized and result-driven.
• Digital savvy with proficiency in Excel, Keynote, Photoshop, and social media.
• Excellent English writing skills; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

This is the first non‑technical/design job in a small fast‑growing and extremely detail‑oriented team. It’s your chance to support a dynamic vision and help the product reach the next stage in terms of content, marketing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Content acquisition: manage and expand a growing selection of news channels.
• Product testing: test new features, find bugs, and offer feedback on UI/UX.
• Office management & operations: coordinate the daily operations of a dynamic startup.
• Design thinking: interact with users to better understand their needs.
• Social media: improve Watchup’s voice on social media.
• Marketing: run user acquisition campaigns and measure user engagement and analytics.

Qualifications
