Job description

What's The Role?

ThoughtSpot is looking for a strategic and creative Content Marketing Manager to join ThoughtSpot’s dynamic marketing team. The mission of our content team is to craft compelling narratives that showcase the power of our AI-Powered Analytics platform and help data-driven teams turn insight into impact. In this role, you will drive content strategy and execution—building high-value, multi-format content that inspires prospects, supports customers, and powers our growth.

At ThoughtSpot, we value curiosity, bold ideas, and people who challenge the status quo. We know that great talent comes in many forms, and we encourage you to apply even if your background doesn’t match every qualification. We’re building a team of driven, collaborative thinkers who believe data has the power to transform organizations.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and execute a content strategy that elevates ThoughtSpot’s voice in the market and drives engagement across key buyer personas in data, analytics, and business functions.
  • Create high-impact content across formats—including blog posts, customer stories, landing pages, thought leadership, videos, and webinars—that supports our full-funnel marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Comms, Brand, and Field teams to deliver compelling narratives that showcase the value of our products.
  • Partner with customers and sales teams to turn real-world success into storytelling assets like case studies, testimonial videos, and reference content.
  • Leverage SEO insights, market trends, and performance data to optimize and refine content for reach, relevance, and impact.
  • Support campaign and event initiatives by delivering content that connects with users at every stage of their journey—from awareness to advocacy.
  • Help build and scale editorial operations, including content planning, workflow management, and editorial guidelines.
  • Contribute to a culture of creativity, quality, and curiosity—pushing the boundaries of what great B2B content can be.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone who brings a blend of storytelling expertise, strategic thinking, and executional excellence to the role. If you meet the minimum requirements, we encourage you to apply.

Minimum Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or communications—preferably in B2B SaaS, data, or enterprise tech.
  • Proven ability to create and manage content that drives pipeline, supports product launches, and fuels brand awareness.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into compelling, accessible narratives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing content calendars and production workflows.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and performance measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
  • Familiarity with the modern data stack or data/analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage external writers, designers, or agencies.
  • Passion for empowering people to use data in smarter, faster, more impactful ways.
