As the Content Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of this new vision by developing and leading breakthrough brand communications and strategic creative content that build awareness, foster loyalty, drive conversion, and expand our brand footprint with our target audience. Your content will drive Sunrun brand affinity and ultimately help consumers understand more about clean energy, solar, Sunrun’s product offerings, and answer key questions they have along the customer journey. You will work closely across the marketing organization to design the content strategy, be hands-on in writing and developing assets, and align brand positioning, content, and marketing calendar to deploy meaningful communications.

The marketing team primarily works remotely, so this position can be located anywhere within the United States. Some travel will be required for in-person meetings and production initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and elevate overarching content strategy for the brand

Collaborate with channel leads on content strategy and asset needs across organic and paid social, email, website, brand communications, product, and more

Leverage consumer insights to shape content strategy and messaging

Support development and deployment of brand campaigns, calendar, and content

Identify, develop, and execute content campaigns with influencers, thought leaders, and brand partners

Lead and oversee content development in collaboration with creative teams across design, video, and UX

Develop cause marketing initiatives, including a cause platform and partnerships that help reinforce and communicate our ESG vision

Coordinate Spanish-language marketing partners and campaigns (ability to speak Spanish is not required)

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)

Creative intuition to lead and develop content & ideas that spark engagement

Executional excellence in developing breakthrough consumer messaging

Exceptional copywriting and storyboarding skills with ability to tailor approach to specific platforms and audiences

Strong understanding of social media dynamics and content-driven SEO

Experience in consumer communications across multiple brands & industries

Track record of distilling complex dynamics into simple brand communications

Ability to drive effective project management across multiple initiatives

Bias for action, speed, and agility

Entrepreneurial drive, used to working in a fast-paced environment

Superior leadership leading and influencing cross functional teams

Passion for learning and development to evolve and acquire new skills

Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and budget management

Excellent presentation and influence skills with senior management

Nice to have:

Video editing and/or graphic design skills

Minimum 5 years experience

Ability to thrive in a remote work environment

The starting salary for this opportunity ranges from $ 104,539-$130,647

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
