Job description

About The Role

The role owns the content engine: editorial strategy, SEO, and demand-generation content that turns search intent and buyer questions into pipeline. This is a hands-writing role in a B2B tech environment where content is a primary growth channel, not a supporting one. You will work closely with demand-gen managers, product marketing, and subject-matter experts to produce assets that rank, convert, and support the full buyer journey — from top-of-funnel thought leadership to bottom-of-funnel comparison and evaluation content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the editorial calendar across blog, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and email nurture content
  • Write and edit long-form and technical content — including how-to guides, product-led posts, and executive thought leadership — grounded in real product use cases
  • Drive organic growth: keyword research, on-page SEO, internal linking strategy, and technical fixes coordinated with the web team (Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, Search Console)
  • Build content briefs for freelance writers and manage a stable contributor network; own quality, voice, and deadlines
  • Develop bottom-of-funnel assets for sales enablement — comparison pages, ROI one-pagers, and customer stories tied to pipeline goals
  • Measure and report content performance against organic traffic, MQLs, and influenced pipeline; run quarterly content audits and refreshes
  • Partner with demand-gen on paid content syndication, webinar programs, and lead magnets that feed the nurture funnel
What We Are Looking For
  • 4-7 years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or technical products
  • Portfolio of published work demonstrating strong writing and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Deep working knowledge of SEO best practices and hands‑on experience with Ahrefs/Semrush, GA4, and a CMS (WordPress or similar)
  • Experience supporting demand generation — landing pages, nurture sequences, gated assets, and webinar content
  • Comfortable interviewing SMEs and engineers to extract technical detail and turn it into clear, persuasive content
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
  • Bonus: experience with AI-assisted content workflows, HTML/CSS basics, video scripting, or ABM content programs
