Job summary

Merge is seeking a Content Marketer to elevate our brand through SEO- and AI-driven content. You will own a content program producing blogs, guides, comparisons, and launch content for developers, partnering with product, engineering, and design to translate complex features into readable content.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in B2B SaaS content, exceptional writing, and deep SEO expertise, with a track record of delivering multiple projects on time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of content marketing experience at a B2B SaaS or developer-focused tech company.
• Fluency in AI industry discourse and active on X; knowledgeable about agents, MCP, and model releases.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of technical content.
• Comfort writing for developers and engineering leaders; familiarity with APIs, integrations, or AI/LLM products is a plus.
• Deep SEO experience (keyword research, on-page, technical SEO, content analytics) and understanding of AEO/GEO.
• Proven ability to grow organic visibility for a B2B or developer brand; AI assistant citation experience is a plus.
• Track record of shipping deliverables on multiple projects against deadlines and collaborating effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own the written content calendar end to end with an SEO/AEO-first strategy; from research to publishing.
• Grow citations in AI assistants by structuring content for retrieval with clear definitions and sources.
• Write high-quality technical and product content: blogs, launch posts, guides, case studies.
• Turn product releases into launch narratives across blog, email, and social channels.
• Source technically accurate content ideas by partnering with engineering, product, and solutions teams.
• Develop customer stories by interviewing customers and internal teams.
• Drive organic growth via keyword research, on-page optimization, and internal linking.
• Maintain a consistent, credible brand voice across all Publish surfaces.
