Job summary

Merge is seeking a Content Marketer to elevate our brand visibility and citations in AI assistants and search. You will own an SEO/AEO-driven content engine and produce blogs, guides, comparisons, and launch content for developers and technical audiences.

Collaborate with product, engineering, solutions, and design to translate what we ship into content that developers want to read and that AI assistants reference.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of content marketing in a B2B SaaS or developer-focused tech.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio.
• Experience writing for developers/engineering leaders; APIs/integrations/AI familiarity a plus.
• Deep experience with SEO and understanding of AEO/GEO for retrieval, ranking, citing sources.
• Proven track record growing organic visibility for B2B or developer brands; AI citations a plus.
• Track record of shipping content and managing multiple projects to deadlines.
• Strong collaboration skills and bias toward action in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the written content calendar end to end with an SEO/AEO-first strategy.
• Grow citations in AI assistants and answer engines by structuring content for retrieval.
• Write high-quality technical and product content: blog posts, launch announcements, guides, case studies.
• Turn product releases into launch narratives across blog, email, and social channels.
• Partner with engineering, product, and solutions teams for technically accurate content ideas.
• Develop customer stories and case studies by interviewing customers and internal teams.
• Drive organic growth through keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, topical authority.
• Maintain a consistent, credible brand voice across Merge publications.
