Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Content Management Program Specialist to support ACS meetings and events from Washington DC. The role involves engaging with ACS Divisions and Committees, implementing initiatives, and leveraging analytics for meeting programming and audience engagement.

Collaboration with internal teams and external groups is key. W2 consultants receive a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in content management/meetings coordination.
• Master’s degree required; PhD preferred in chemistry or chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support ACS Future of Meetings Initiatives and shape the future of ACS meetings.
• Coordinate meetings and engage with ACS Divisions and Committees.
• Provide data-driven insights for technical session programming and events.
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and track progress of programming projects.
• Maintain up-to-date contact lists and facilitate communications with ACS leadership and chairs.
• Serve as staff liaison to ACS committees and manage communications related to divisions.
• Oversee session programming at National Meetings and other events.
• Assist in grants and awards administration.
• Contribute to writing and revision of scientific publications and manuscripts.
