Job summary

CarParts.com is seeking a Content Lead in Long Beach to own content across site, blog, and campaigns, including PDPs and SEO strategy. You will write, edit, and manage freelancers, ensuring brand voice and scalable templates across millions of SKUs.

You’ll report to the CMO and collaborate with design, CRM, and merchandising to drive traffic and revenue. You bring 7+ years in content marketing and SEO, strong writing, hands-on WordPress, and expertise in GEO and AI-enabled content visibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in content marketing and SEO.
• Experience owning organic and PDP content strategy for an ecommerce or high-SKU site.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a range from technical how-to to conversion copy.
• Hands-on WordPress experience including content management, plugins, and HTML.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Experience managing freelancers or agencies to quality and deadlines.
• Ability to work on site in Long Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Own content strategy and editorial calendar across site, blog, email, social, and video.
• Set and maintain brand voice; review copy from internal teams and agencies.
• Write and edit high-impact content yourself: PDPs, buying guides, how-to articles, and campaigns.
• Partner with design, performance marketing, and CRM to support promotions and conversion goals.
• Own PDP content strategy: titles, descriptions, bullets, specs, fitment copy, FAQs.
• Build scalable PDP templates and standards by category for conversion and SEO.
