Job summary

Base is a next-generation power company building a distributed battery network to transform the grid. We seek a Content Lead who can craft clear, compelling narratives for homeowners and potential employees alike, shaping website, blog, emails, and lifecycle copy.

You'll own content end-to-end, partner with marketing, product, design, and recruiting, and help set the voice and standards that define how Base is seen in the market. This role is hands-on and collaborative.

Qualifications

• Portfolio shows ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
• Audience-first approach using interviews, data, and research.
• Experience owning content end-to-end at a fast-growing company or consumer brand.

Responsibilities

• Own content across the customer acquisition journey (website, blog, email, text, social).
• Lead employer-brand content and tell Base's people stories.
• Set voice and editorial standards for all Base content.
• Build and execute the content distribution strategy.
• Partner with lifecycle, growth, recruiting, product and design to turn work into readable content.
• Talk to members and teammates to surface stories worth telling.
