Job summary

Expedia Group in Chicago HQ is seeking a Content Designer III to shape product content strategies across loyalty and insurance experiences. You’ll blend UX writing with storytelling and collaborate with product, design, and research teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.

You’ll lead content planning, audit content, apply information architecture, and drive accessibility, readability, and inclusivity across product areas, leveraging data and user research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in UX writing, content audits and analysis, content mapping and modeling, information architecture, content planning and sourcing, conversational design, and storytelling.
• 5+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX writer, or Content Strategist.
• Ability to audit, analyze, structure, create, and design content independently in user-focused product experiences.
• Strong ability to present compelling rationale behind content strategies to peers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Expertise in persuasion and negotiation to create optimal experiences balancing traveler satisfaction and business goals.
• Experience applying human-centered design practices to product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design content solutions for onboarding, in-app education, transactional flows and push notifications.
• Apply information architecture methods and UI frameworks to scalable content.
• Audit, analyze, structure, create, and present UX content across the product experience.
• Partner with product and research teams to drive content tests and log, prioritize, and resolve content bugs.
• Improve accessibility, inclusion, readability, and translatability of product content.
