Job summary

Talent Groups is seeking a Product Content Designer / UX Writer to join our Experience Design team in Chicago. You will craft in-product content for frontline and field users, working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to create clear, intuitive digital experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of product content or UX writing experience, strong collaboration skills, and a proven ability to translate complex functionality into usable content.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in Product Content Design or UX Writing.
• Experience creating in-product content within a corporate product or technology environment.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles for digital products.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise, and user-focused content for digital products and experiences.
• Partner with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and refine UX copy including interface content, instructions, error messages, notifications, workflows, and other in-product experiences.
• Translate complex product functionality and business requirements into content that frontline and field users can understand and act on.
• Advocate for the user and ensure content is consistent, intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the digital experience.
• Collaborate within design workflows and contribute content directly in Figma.
• Help establish and maintain content patterns, standards, and best practices across digital products.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully to support content development and workflows.
