Job summary

PBS, based in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Production Associate for Content Operations & Scheduling within the PBS KIDS Distribution team. You will support the Assistant Director in day-to-day post-production operations, oversee content deliveries, and ensure accurate scheduling across linear, streaming, and digital platforms.

You will collaborate with multiple PBS KIDS teams and producers to validate assets, manage metadata, and meet program guidelines while supporting accessibility and rights

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in media, broadcast, streaming, production, or post-production.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily feed schedules and broadcast rollout strategy.
• Monitor show deliveries and ensure adherence to packaging and deliverable guidelines.
• Verify accessibility features (CC, DA, Spanish audio, ASL) are present and compliant.
• Manage metadata, descriptions, and curriculum info across systems.
• Liaise with PBS KIDS teams and external partners for content delivery and rights.
