Responsibilities

• Lead planning and creation of daily/weekly content for Oscar Stone.
• Develop creative ideas for videos, reels, photos, promotions, campaigns.
• Film and edit high-quality short-form videos for social platforms.
• Create jewelry-focused content: new arrivals, custom pieces, education, BTS.
• Direct employees in videos and help them feel comfortable on camera.
• Review social media performance and identify engaging content.
• Coordinate content shoots across Oscar Stone locations as needed.
• Develop a consistent visual style and brand voice.
• Organize and maintain video, photo, and digital content files.

About the Role

Oscar Stone is looking for a creative, motivated, and experienced Content Creator Team Lead to take ownership of our content creation and help grow our brand across social media and digital platforms.

We are looking for someone who understands how to create high-quality, engaging video content that captures attention, showcases our jewelry, connects with customers, and represents the Oscar Stone brand professionally.

The ideal candidate is not someone who simply follows instructions. We are looking for a creative thinker who brings new ideas to the table, understands current social media trends, and can develop content concepts from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and creation of daily and weekly content for Oscar Stone.
• Develop creative ideas for videos, reels, photos, promotions, product showcases, and social media campaigns.
• Film and edit high-quality short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels.
• Create engaging jewelry-focused content, including:
  • New jewelry arrivals
  • Custom jewelry
  • Diamond and luxury pieces
  • Jewelry education
  • Behind-the-scenes content
  • Customer experiences
  • Promotions and special events
  • Store and employee content
  • Trending social media concepts
• Take professional photos and videos of jewelry and store activities.
• Edit videos with strong pacing, transitions, captions, music, graphics, and other elements that increase engagement.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, popular sounds, formats, and content strategies.
• Develop a consistent visual style and voice for the Oscar Stone brand.
• Create monthly and weekly content plans and calendars.
• Work closely with management, sales, and marketing to identify products and business priorities that should be promoted.
• Coordinate content shoots at different Oscar Stone locations when needed.
• Direct employees or team members participating in videos and help them feel comfortable on camera.
• Review social media performance and identify what types of content are generating engagement.
• Make recommendations for improving content, audience engagement, and brand visibility.
• Help build Oscar Stone's online presence and develop new ways to reach potential customers.
• Organize and maintain video, photo, and other digital content files.
• Ensure all content represents Oscar Stone in a professional and luxury-focused manner.
• Lead or coordinate other content team members and delegate tasks when necessary.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience creating social media content, preferably for a retail, fashion, jewelry, luxury, or lifestyle brand.
• Strong video filming and editing skills.
• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar platforms.
• Strong photography and visual content skills.
• Ability to develop original content ideas without needing constant direction.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Understanding of social media trends and what makes content engaging and shareable.
• Strong creative eye for lighting, framing, composition, and presentation.Ability to tell a story through video.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with management and other departments.
• Leadership skills and the ability to guide and coordinate a content team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.

Leadership Expectations

As the Content Creator Team Lead, this person will be expected to take ownership of the content function and help establish a consistent creative direction for Oscar Stone.

The Team Lead should be able to:

• Bring new ideas and creative concepts to management.
• Create and manage content schedules.
• Prioritize content based on company goals and promotions.
• Coordinate shoots and content assignments.
• Help train and guide other content team members.
• Hold team members accountable for assigned content responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities for new campaigns and social media initiatives.
• Track content performance and make recommendations based on results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating previous video and social media work.
• Experience managing or leading a creative/content team.
• Experience working with jewelry, fashion, luxury retail, e-commerce, or similar industries.
• Experience creating content that has generated strong engagement or growth.
• Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools.
