Menssano LLC is seeking a Content Copywriter to script video and interactive CBT-based programs for college students. You will translate clinical science into engaging scripts for MoodLift offerings and related modules, ensuring evidence-based fidelity.

Work closely with Clinical Content Specialists, Content Producer, and designers to deliver scripts that fit production timelines, resonate with Gen Z, and integrate memes and infographics where appropriate.

Job description

We’re looking for a highly skilled Content Copywriter to script the video and interactive content that powers Menssano’s cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and life skills training programs.

Reporting to the Content Producer, you will be the creative voice of our digital interventions, responsible for writing compelling, relatable scripts for college students. You will work in lockstep with our Clinical Content Specialists, who will provide the clinical frameworks, core psychological information, and therapeutic guidance. Your challenge is to translate her clinical expertise into engaging video scripts, interactive branching dialogues, quizzes, and guided practices that resonate with Gen Z, all without sacrificing the evidence-based integrity of the protocols.

What You'll Do

• Write Video Scripts: Draft compelling, conversational scripts for animated and live-action videos across our portfolio including for our MoodLift programs (such as Rel@x, GoodEnough, and Moodpep).


• Develop Interactive Content: Write the copy for in-app text, interactive sessions, guided CBT exercises, quizzes, and weekly text-based check-ins that guide students through everything from interactive shorts (2 minutes) to 4-to-5 week programs.


• Translate Clinical Science: Partner directly with our Clinical Content Specialists to digest dense psychological concepts, research, and CBT protocols and turn them into accessible, student-friendly language.


• Nail the Tone and Voice: Establish and maintain an empathetic, authentic, and engaging voice that speaks to college students, not at them. Seamlessly integrate modern communication styles (including context for infographics, memes, and GIFs) into the learning experience.


• Collaborate with Production: Work closely with the Content Producer, motion designers, and video editors to ensure your scripts are executed seamlessly on screen and fit within production constraints and timelines.


• Iterate and Refine: Actively participate in the clinical review process. Incorporate feedback from our Clinical Content Specialists to protect clinical fidelity, and revise copy based on student usability testing and engagement data.
