Job summary

Magnit Global in Newark, NJ seeks a team-oriented editor/ops professional to ensure accuracy and quality of the audiobook catalog while supporting content delivery to millions of listeners. This onsite role focuses on gathering elements for production and prioritizing workflow based on stakeholder input.

You will track titles through the production queue, troubleshoot issues with internal teams and partners, and manage updates to product records using ONIX metadata and content management

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree, preferably in humanities.
• Minimum 1 year professional proofreading/copyediting experience.
• Minimum 1 year editorial/operations experience in audiobook or podcast publishing.
• Technical proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Database concepts and best practices.
• Multi-tasking and problem-solving.
• Cross-functional team collaboration.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather necessary elements for audiobook production

• Track titles through production queue

• Manage updates for existing products using content management systems and ONIX metadata
• Make and track changes to product records post-publication

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Location: Newark, NJ (100% onsite)

Pay Rate: $31.50/Hour W-2 Only (based on Education/Experience)

Contract: 9 months
