Sunstate Equipment Co. seeks a Content & Communications Manager to craft engaging employee and external communications across channels. You will translate business priorities into clear messages and tell stories that bring Sunstate's brand and culture to life.

You will lead social and digital content development, partner with design, and manage internal channels like the intranet and Sunstate Connect app, while guiding communications through enterprise initiatives and organizational change.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in corporate communications, employee communications, content development or related field.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Experience developing employee communications and supporting organizational change or enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Strong communications and editorial judgment, including handling sensitive topics and confidential information.
• Experience working with internal communications, employee engagement or digital publishing platforms.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.
• Knowledge of AI tools for content development and ideation with emphasis on maintaining brand voice and accuracy.

• Ensure communications reflect Sunstate's voice across audiences and channels.
• Review and refine communications for clarity, tone, and editorial quality.
• Develop social and digital content and collaborate with design on creative execution.
• Partner with Change Management and business leaders to create communications for enterprise initiatives and organizational change.
• Explain changes to employees with clear, audience-centered messaging, focusing on impact and rationale.
• Provide sound communication judgment for complex or sensitive initiatives.
• Own and manage key employee communication channels (intranet, Sunstate Connect app, internal displays).
• Lead content strategy and governance of internal channels to improve reach and relevance.
• Manage publishing and audience targeting across internal platforms.
• Use analytics and feedback to improve content and channel strategy.

Content & Communications

• Develop, write and edit clear, compelling communications for employees and external audiences across channels and formats.
• Translate business priorities and complex information into communications that are easy to understand, relevant and actionable.
• Identify and tell employee, customer, community and business stories that bring Sunstate's brand and culture to life.
• Ensure communications consistently reflect Sunstate's voice while adapting message, tone, and format for the audience and channel.
• Review and refine communications developed by others for clarity, tone, consistency and editorial quality.
• Develop social and digital content and partner with Sunstate's design team on creative execution as appropriate.

Change Communications

• Partner with EPMO, Change Management and business leaders to develop communications supporting key enterprise initiatives and organizational change.
• Help employees understand what is changing, why it matters and what it means for them through clear, audience-centered communications.
• Bring strong communications judgment to complex or sensitive initiatives, considering message, timing, audience and employee impact.

Internal Communication Channels

• Own and manage key employee communication channels, including the company intranet, SS Connect employee app and internal branch displays.
• Lead content strategy, governance and ongoing development of internal channels to improve employee reach and access to relevant information.
• Manage content publishing and audience targeting across internal communications platforms.
• Use channel analytics, engagement metrics and employee feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness and continuously improve content and channel strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate communications, employee communications, content development or a related field.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear, relevant and engaging for different audiences.
• Experience developing employee communications and supporting organizational change or enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Strong communications and editorial judgment, including the ability to navigate sensitive topics and confidential information.
• Experience working with internal communications, employee engagement or digital publishing platforms.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools for content development and ideation, with the judgment to maintain accuracy, authenticity and brand voice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing an intranet, employee communications platform or digital signage; familiarity with platforms such as Marketing Cloud, ComSuite, HubEngage or similar tools is a plus.
• Experience developing content for social and digital channels, including familiarity with short-form video and visual content creation.
• Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for identifying content opportunities across the organization.
• Experience working with creative and design partners to bring content concepts to life.
• Experience supporting communications in a geographically dispersed, field-based or operational organization.
