Job summary

Republic Services in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld, paint and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers. You will weld steel and aluminum using MIG and ARC processes, fabricate components with brakes and shears, and install lids and wheels.

The role requires a certified welder, knowledge of plasma cutting and paint spraying, and the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision. Excellent benefits and a strong team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Certified welder with proven welding experience.
• Knowledge of MIG, ARC welding and plasma cutting.
• Ability to use airless paint sprayers and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC.
• Fabricates steel components using brake and shear.
• Cuts steel using plasma cutter or torch.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers.
• Paints repaired containers.
• Follows safety policies and completes paperwork.
• Refer more complex repairs to supervisor.
