Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld, and paint containers and roll-off boxes. The role requires MIG/ARC welding, fabrication with brakes, and plasma cutting, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified welder with MIG and ARC experience.
• Knowledge of plasma cutting and airless paint sprayers.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components using brake and shear; cut steel with plasma torch.
• Install lids and wheels; paint repaired containers.
• Complete required paperwork and follow safety policies.
