Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation coordination or logistics within a transportation-related industry.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements in Virginia.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• CDL License Required

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation schedules to ensure the timely delivery of containers.
• Track shipments and resolve any transportation issues or delays proactively.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Analyze transportation data and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and sales teams to synchronize logistics activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce operational costs.
