Job summary

Rumpke is hiring a Welder to repair and fabricate on containers, compactors, and fleet vehicles in a shop and field environments. You will MIG/ARC weld, use plasma cutting equipment, perform related fabrication tasks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace adhering to OSHA standards.

The role requires 1–2 years welding experience or completed training, ability to operate shop tools, and professional interaction with customers and coworkers. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• MIG/ARC and stick welding knowledge preferred.
• 1–2 years welding and cutting experience or completion of a welding/tech program.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication/repair work on containers, compactors, and fleet vehicles.
• Weld steel using MIG/ARC; cut steel with plasma cutter and saws.
• Maintain a safe, clean shop area compliant with OSHA and company policies.
• Complete paperwork using computer systems and tools.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Assist with installations and other shop projects as needed.
