Job summary

AdventHealth in Maitland, FL is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to build relationships with patients, consumers, and co-workers via telephone or Teams, and to schedule medical office visits and procedures accurately.

You will meet performance metrics, train on scheduling processes, and transfer callers to the correct departments, while maintaining confidentiality and superb communication. This role requires strong organizational skills and familiarity with health records systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in call center or telephonic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements and regulations.
• Lead role in a medical setting or health care role preferred.
• Experience with scheduling and data handling in a clinical environment.

Job Description:

• Call Center/Practice Telephonic Experience for In and Outbound calls. [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience as a lead role in a medical setting or other health care related role. [Preferred]
• 1+ experience as a ma-c or licensed nurse. [Preferred]
• Experience in various clinical areas inpatient or outpatient practices [Preferred]
