Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of lending experience required.
• Experience with consumer loan documentation, disclosures, and closing processes preferred.
• Requires an active NMLS number or ability to obtain one after starting.
• Notary Public is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive consumer loan requests in the loan origination system.
• Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage an active pipeline of loan requests to ensure timely processing and follow-up.
• Coordinate with retail staff, consumer underwriters, and third-party vendors to obtain required documentation.
• Order, monitor, and track third-party items (flood determinations, appraisals, title work, etc.).
• Prepare and deliver disclosures and loan documents within regulatory timeframes.
• Review loan files for closing readiness and clear prior-to-close conditions.
• Prepare, schedule, and coordinate loan closings.
• Coordinate funding and disbursement of loan proceeds.
• Review signed loan packages for completeness and accuracy prior to funding and posting.
• Ensure all executed loan documents are imaged and retained.
• Scan and route post-closing documents to appropriate departments.
• Maintain accurate loan file documentation and status updates.
• Follow all Bank policies, loan policy requirements, and operational procedures.
