Job summary

Vantage Bank Texas is seeking a Commercial Loan Processor to review and prepare loan documentation for real estate, commercial, consumer, and SBA loans, including renewals and modifications. You will ensure compliance with policies, accurate lien recording, and timely funding of loans.

The role requires collaboration with loan officers and attorneys, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to adopt new technology, including AI-assisted systems, to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1+ years of loan processing experience in a financial institution.
• 2+ years banking or similar financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of real estate documentation and related regulations (RESPA/HMDA).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic calculator skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and verifies loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with approvals and bank policies.
• Prepares in-house loan documents and disclosures for closing.
• Demonstrates knowledge of real estate documentation, real estate law, and contracts.
• Ensures proper lien recording and adherence to UCC requirements.
• Collaborates with loan officers and attorneys to ensure complete documentation.
• Provides support to loan operations and assists with administrative tasks.
• Communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Adapts and utilizes new technology, including AI-assisted systems, to streamline review and workflow.
