Job summary

Jobtailor in Spokane is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Processor to process, fund, and document direct consumer loans while supporting members and branches. You will learn Consumer Lending products, procedures, and regulatory requirements, handling tasks in queues toward loan documents and funding or disposition of personal loans and credit cards.

Ideal candidates will maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to SLAs, and will contribute to meeting loan volume objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months’ general office work with some knowledge of consumer loans products and regulations preferred.
• Well organized with effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in end-user computer technologies.

Responsibilities

• Process, follow-up, and fund direct consumer loans.
• Provide support and service to members and branches.
• Become knowledgeable about Consumer Lending products, services, and processes.
• Learn to perform all tasks in assigned queues leading up to loan documents and funding or disposition.
• Produce a quality loan volume meeting SLAs and objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information with integrity.
• Comply with federal/state laws and Credit Union policies.
• Respond to inquiries within SLAs.
• Communicate professionally and clearly.
• Assist in other Consumer Lending areas as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
