Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a lending-focused professional to cultivate member relationships, process loan applications, and promote banking products. You will review credit documents, ensure compliance, and coordinate cross-sell opportunities, all while supporting member satisfaction and accurate underwriting.

The role emphasizes lending regulations, MLO readiness, and CCUFC/registration goals, with strong communication and multitasking required to excel in a dynamic credit union environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of consumer lending experience.
• Knowledge of consumer lending regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Mortgage Loan Originator registration—must obtain within 6 months or already registered; CCUFC certification within 9 months

Responsibilities

• Cultivate member relationships through high-quality sales and service.
• Promote and cross-sell savings, depository accounts, consumer loans, and insurance products.
• Process consumer loan applications and funding with accurate documentation.
• Review credit reports to identify opportunities and assess creditworthiness.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and credit union policies; assist with audits.
