Job summary

S&T Bank is seeking a Consumer Loan Operations Specialist to process consumer loans and coordinate with Retail Bankers, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and internal policies. This role supports underwriting by verifying documentation and preparing disclosures within required timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
• Two to five years in general business experience with consumer lending knowledge.
• Understanding of consumer lending laws and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Update and verify data input into loan origination software and analyze LTV/DTI and credit reports.
• Review equity applications and prepare initial and re-disclosure packages within 3 business days.
• Verify title searches, tax certifications, flood determinations and appraisals for consistency.
• Distribute reports to Bankers and coordinate with underwriters to satisfy conditions.
• Maintain system files, correct vendor reports, and ensure flood insurance coverage.
• Balance and maintain the Appraisal GL daily and respond to lender inquiries.
