Job summary

MA Bank seeks a Consumer Loan Processor I to coordinate the flow and origination of consumer loan documents with the Consumer Loan Officer while delivering excellent customer service to loan applicants and customers.

Responsibilities include assembling documents, ensuring timely closings, monitoring loan funding, and supporting loan processing with accurate documentation and compliance with lending regulations. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college experience preferred.
• Some banking experience with loan support and/or loan processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with customer service issues; loan transactions, and basic loan administration questions.
• Assembles documents for consumer loan files; ensures documents are ordered and obtained in a timely fashion for on-time closings.
• Coordinates with Loan Officer to ensure loan files contain accurate documentation and proper vesting descriptions, dates, and signatures.
• Monitors uploading and funding of consumer loans to the core system after loan closing; ensures accurate data transfer.
• Conducts loan closings under the direction of a Loan Officer.
