Job summary

Coosa Valley Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Analyst to support the full lifecycle of consumer loans, from origination to post-closing. You will ensure accuracy in loan booking, funding, and documentation, while coordinating with Lending, Compliance, Audit, and Learning & Development to keep processes compliant and efficient.

The role emphasizes training, process improvement, regulatory awareness, and providing back-office support for both consumer and commercial lending activities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory requirements in lending.
• Experience with loan documentation and compliance is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate booking of all loan transactions.
• Review approved consumer loans for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate and execute loan funding per approved terms.
• Perform post-closing reviews of consumer loan files.
• Assist with training and process improvements for lending staff.
• Monitor regulatory changes and compliance with lending laws.
• Provide back-office support including HMDA/GRMA and regulatory reporting.
